Import Favourites From Google Chrome

What To Do

First open the root folder of your user account in "C:\Users\" And click "organize" in the explorer window's ribbon menu. Select "Folder and search options" then select the "View" tab of the dialog that appears. In the "Advanced Settings" list look for the option "Show hidden files, folders and drives" and check the radio button next to it. Click the dialog's "Apply" button and then "OK" to exit the dialog.

Next, use the explorer to navigate through the following folders now visible in your C:\Users\\...(your name)...\ folder . The path to explore to is C:\Users\(your user folder)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\".

There should be a file named "bookmarks" that has no file extension.

Copy that file to somewhere you can easily find it. Lastly, open it with the widget on this page - you should be done!

If there is no file browser widget when using Internet Explorer, open "Compatibility View Settings" in the "Tools" menu and uncheck the box for "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View". Click "Close" on the dialog, then refresh this page.
